On price, Honest QR's Starter billed annually costs less per year than Scanova's Basic, and it covers up to 12 dynamic codes against 3. Starter can also be paid month to month, which Basic cannot: Scanova's lowest-priced monthly plan is Lite at USD 15/month. Scanova's trial is the longer and easier one to start, at 14 days with no card against 7 days with a card.

On cancellation, Scanova's pricing FAQ says dynamic QR codes need an active subscription to keep working, and that it makes a full or partial refund on cancellation depending on the plan and the period of subscription. With Honest QR, dynamic codes keep working as normal until the end of the paid period. After that, editing, new dynamic codes and scan tracking pause until you resubscribe, and the codes keep redirecting as normal for a 7-day grace period, with an email before it ends. After the grace period a scan shows a short Honest QR notice and then continues to the destination. Nothing is deleted, and resubscribing removes the notice and restores editing and tracking for the same codes and short links.
